RCG specialises in deep facilitation.

This involves working with a group around the interplay between its task performance and its group dynamics. It involves bringing to the surface the assumptions, habits and undiscussibles that get in the way of effective performance. Deep facilitation encourages authentic connection between people around the work that needs to get done.

Many facilitators do little more than direct conversation like traffic police and then summarise what has been said – some very skillfully. Or they position themselves as entertainers, taking up time and energy (so you don't have to).

Deep facilitation is quite different. It requires expertise in the psychology of group behaviour, the ability to pay attention to what is actually happening within the group, skill in building trust and permission to push the boundaries, and the smarts to link all this to the organisation's goals.
