ENGAGING PEOPLE WITH CHANGE

Many organisations attempt change only “above the line” - in the highly rational domain of organisational life, as though logic, clear explanation and “rollouts” always win out.

Often people's energies and appetite for change fall away quickly (and the results are middling at best) because of a lack of engagement.

We encourage groups to spend time working on change "below the line" – paying attention to what is actually going on around them and how people are actually behaving – in order to get better above the line results.

Idealisation and cynicism are supplanted with a drive to realism, collaborative problem-solving and mutual accountability.

We work with groups to help them identify and work on those behaviours and ways of organising that help their change efforts. Change ceases to be something that is done to them and becomes something in which they have a voice
